1. HUMOR U TIP #199 – Heck, It's Only The Economy! |
By Ann Fry I don’t know know about you, but I’m refusing to get too nervous about the economy. I’m barely watching TV or listening to reports or reading the newspaper. Hope you’re not disappointed in me, but I’ve learned to pick my battles. The thing about tapping into your sense of humor is that you can choose to distract yourself and have some fun—even when things are tough. Let’s see—worry frantically or go see a funny movie? Sort of a no-brainer for me. Call me naïve or Pollyanna, but I’ll choose distraction. Besides, if I follow the scary stock market, I’ll get frightened, or maybe even depressed. I’ll deal with it when I have to. How are you handling the news? What do you do to distract yourself? I’d love to hear. Good luck!
