1. HUMOR U TIP #196 – New Beginnings |
By Ann Fry Okay, so we’re more than three weeks into the new year. What’s up with you? What’s new and different? What are you already planning for this year that will be a new beginning from the same old, same old? Now, I don’t believe in resolutions, but I do believe in declarations. You can declare what you will change, who you will be, what you will do, etc. And then share with others and they’ll keep you accountable. I’m into laughing more out loud (so I can create infectious laughter wherever I am) and I’m into playing outside the box more AND I’m committed to giving more to others (as in volunteerism or however it shows up). What about you? What new beginnings are you declaring? How will your workplace benefit from you being there in a much more FUN way? It’s up to you. Go for it! From me to you… a happy, fulfilling 2008!
Truth: People just want to work for GREAT companies and GREAT managers. They want workplace "CULTURES THAT WORK". Can you say... HAPPY AND PROFITABLE? For Past Tips, visit: |
2. MAKE SOMEONE HAPPY AT WORK OPPORTUNITY |
Drop off little notes of appreciation on a co-worker’s desk… anonymously. No more chocolates or treats for a while (we are all pretty sugared-out from the holidays). Keep those notes coming regularly and make them sweet and funny. Watch from afar and see the smiles appear. |
3. MOVIE RECOMMENDATIONS |
Not too many funny movies out now, but a few inspiring ones:

4. FREE COACHING OFFER |
It's going so well that I want to continue! The first three people who contact me this month can have a FREE half-hour of coaching about how to make their workplace culture more fun and satisfying. The folks calling are getting value and you can too—don’t lose out. It’s YOUR turn now. So email me at ann@humoru.com and ask for the session. |
5. BRAND SPANKING NEW—Yahoo! |
Announcing a new section on the Humor University website for companies that are so great and fun to work for that you just won't believe it! In your subject line, put "Unbelievably FUN Company" I’ll sift through and decide which companies to list. Then I’ll write you back for permission to put you on the site. It’s your company’s time to shine AND to inspire others. |
