1. HUMOR U TIP #172 – Take a Nap; Turkey Day Is Coming |
By Ann Fry I know that turkey day is always a "day off" from work, unless of course, you work for a restaurant, hotel, hospital, police or fire dept., etc. But, for most of us we're off. I also know many companies have a "pot luck" turkey meal sometime this week before Thanksgiving. Here are a couple of tips to maximize that experience:
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving … and remember to laugh a lot as well. Truth: People just want to work for GREAT companies and GREAT managers. They want workplace "cultures that work." Can you say... PROFIT? For Past Tips, visit: |
2. HAPPY WORK THOUGHTS |
Last month I invited you to leave little droppings on your co-worker's desk. Did you? Thanksgiving is almost here … continue to provide those little droppings to show appreciation of a friend at work. (If you didn't read last month, I know this sounds weird.) One more thing: For no reason at all, go up to people at work and say, "I love you man" … give them a pat on the back and just say "thanks!" It brings a smile. Guaranteed! |
3. MOVIE RECOMMENDATIONS |

So, whenever we see a movie that we think is really fun or silly or otherwise worthy of recommendation, we'll cover it here. Movies, by the way, are great "therapy" – a great way to get away from stress and the busy world. (Not much funny right now, but holiday movies are starting to abound.) Two honorable mentions, however:
